Annual NC Truck Camper Rally

Our truck camper rally is a time to gather with fellow truck camper owners, play games, and learn from technicians through seminars.

Whether you’re a truck camper enthusiast or owner, come enjoy the weekend with D&H RV at Jordan Lake State Park. This event is open to the public and it'll be a great time to learn from current owners. Activities for the weekend include seminars, time to show off your camper, prizes, games, and lots of food!

FAQS

- You have the flexibility to arrive either Thursday evening or Friday any time. Official rally events don't begin until Friday late afternoon/evening.

- Campsites are first come, first served. There are no reserved spots at Vista Point.

- The campground has full electric and water hookups at each site, as well as a bathhouse and dump station.

Can children come to the rally?

Yes! We welcome families to attend.

Can pets come to the rally?

Yes! Pets are welcome at the campground. Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet and attended at all times. Owners are also responsible for collecting pet waste. Please follow these two rules, as a park ranger will hand out fines to attendees if they do not comply.

What hook ups will be available?

- All sites have 30 amp electric and full water hookup.

- Black water (sewage) can be dumped at the dump station located on the right when you leave the Vista Point loop. The station is along the path to the bathhouse.

What are the campsite sizes?

- Jordan Lake State Park lists a maximum vehicle length of 40 ft for campsites at Vista Point. If you plan to bring an additional vehicle or tow a trailer, many spots are long enough to accommodate this (plus the ability to back in).

Are there public restrooms?

Yes. Vista Point has a designated bathhouse with multiple toilets, sinks, and hot water showers.

What is the firewood policy?

- No out of state firewood will be allowed into the park (park has the right to confiscate it)

- Firewood can be purchased from the campground host, or from a local grocery store like the Harris Teeter off Hwy 64 and Teachy Pl/Richardson Rd.

Will all meals be provided?

Camping begins Thursday evening. Rally provided meals will run from Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast.

What about people who have special dietary needs?

We'll do our best to have various food choices at each meal, but please bring your own food along if you have specific dietary needs. Most meals are catered, and with around 100 attendees, we're unable to accommodate everyone.

Will there be service and/or parts available?

- Service: We're happy to schedule you for an appt either before of after the rally. Please give us a call to get scheduled: (919) 362-4665 ext 201.
- Parts: We no longer have a retail parts store. If you have a specific part request, please reach out to our service department in advance. They can arrange a part delivery/pickup while you're in town.
